May your brother Death not take me,  your mother Earth protect me  I pray...  The prayer of angels  that when all is done  we may have rest,  and sweet, sweet dreams.   
And when all is said and done,  when all our swords are stayed,  may I have rest?

-January-A night of stars, cloud obsured,  lays silent above a dead Earth,  a New Year, and the hopes  that lay at birth's tall gate.   
But I lay untroubled, asleep  in my bed. Of the year's toils,  I am unconcerned; for naught  but dreams of fireside stories  fill my resting head. -January-

Awaiting the DawnI raise my hands in humble,  precious surrender. My sword dropped,  my viciousness as a veil removed.  And I stop to smell the flowers,  I stop to hear the birds.  I surrender. I surrender.   
Darkness holds a strange allure,  as all the pretty flowers know,  and all the flitting birds attest,  darkness holds a sweet allure,  and brings us back.  It takes us back.   
Darkness kindly hides the face  from watchful eyes, from judging eyes.  It hides all works of good or ill,  until light comes again.  And at the dawn I raise my hands,  and I surrender Awaiting the Dawn

(Wow! Cool new feature!)

My name is Anthony. I'm a senior in high school, and am looking forward to college! I've been a member of dA for quite a while now, and I enjoy it a lot. My interests include psychology, history, dram, and music! I enjoy long walks on the beach...running my toes through the sand...oh wait, I don't. Ah well. :) I think it's just really cool that there is now this feature on deviantART, and IO shall update it...someday. ;)
