Yes, folks, I finally wrote something new! (I'm on fire, I've done three poems tonight alone...one of which I'm very proud of!!)

I don't do much in the way of haiku poetry, so I feel safe naming this one just that. This poem is not necessarily self evident...tell me what you think it means.

My original thought has to do with the idea of a simple song being similar to the beginning of spring because it's simple. Or the idea that song (speaking) can bring forth fruit (like God speaking things into existence). I have a few more ideas, but I'm tired and therefore not getting my ducks in a row the way I would like to. Sorry.

the bigger frogs sing with lower voices? :confused:

I don't know what it means, but I like it. it turns things around in an interesting way inviting us to think more openly. and that is what poetry is for, right?

Of all the ways to see this poem, you probably won the award for most original thought. But you could be right...you aren't...you could be.

Poetry is never meant to be too straight-forward. So if it confused you, it worked! :) Thank you for the comment.

hmmmmmmmm I'm so bad at the figuring out meanings of poems. ^^; but for me: this seems like it could mean not only music in springtime that seems sweeter (perhaps due to the weather) but the songs OF spring. The music that comes from the sounds and feel and everything that is apart of Spring. *shrug* that's what I got. :)
