French Flag???

Fri Apr 24, 2009, 5:20 PM
I have a question! How do you use stamps here on deviantART in your journal? I would love to use a French flag stamp I recently favorited. Please let me know! :)

Time Goes By

Fri Apr 3, 2009, 10:15 PM
It was a beautiful city to be sure. Not Seattle, but not Coeur d'Alene. Clean, for a city. Here, it was easier to be someone, to dream. I see why Courtney likes it. I like it too. To believe such a city is less than an hour away from me is truly a strange subject to grasp. Spokane. The city of lilacs. Nice, huh? I like it. I like Courtney too. :)

Otherwise, I am sorry for not having been online, on deviantART, or in contact with some of you. Fiddler on the Roof proved to be amazing. We have full houses the last three nights, and pretty full houses the first three. It was bliss while it lasted. Now I don't have a life. Or perhaps, now I do. :)

Except for being a senior, and finishing up with high school, I really have nothing going. Nothing bad, anyway. I have an amazing family, a beautiful girlfriend, good grades, wonderful friends, and a few colleges that have accepted me (including Whitworth...I wish I could afford it.) Soo...I can't really complain about life right now. It's exciting, and bright, and wonderful. And free. Did I mention free? The freedom from Fiddler is wonderful. And I don't have a full beard anymore. Hehehe.

So, as ever, I'm curious as to how the lives of all of you have been going. Hopefully they have all been blissful. I do hope to hear from each and every one of you. So please write!!! Yay. I'll write more later. :)

Apologies

Sat Jan 17, 2009, 7:56 PM
Hello peoples. I owe you guys a big apology. I have barely spoken with any of you in months. And even before that, I was on rarely. It's not that I'm done with deviantART, or that I have forgotten any of you. It's simply that I've been busy. And after a while...you start to miss it a little less, and soon...you hardly think about it at all. At least not consciously. I'm in the middle of another musical right now, but despite that, I'm going to try and get more active.

On that note...how is everyone? Some of you I've heard from sporadically, some...very little, and others, none at all. So sound off here and let me know how you are! I hope to hear from you guys soon. :)

School Days Return!!

Tue Sep 2, 2008, 8:17 PM
Well, the rest and relaxation of summer is officially at an end! And so, too, is my time on deviantART except on the weekends (most likely.)

The first day of school was as wonderful as I'd hoped, and my sister is now in school with me. That hasn't happened in so many years...in fact, I'm not overly sure if it's ever happened...gosh, I don't remember!! She might've been with me in elementary school, though I thought she wasn't...

Oh well.

I hope to hear a bit from all of you, how your lives are going, etc. through notes if you'd so kindly oblige :) And hopefully I'll reply to my comments soon!

Fun Things

Wed Aug 27, 2008, 12:31 PM
Sooo...my best friend Jordan (colossus999) and I planned on going to Pacific Lutheran University, where he's going to college, and then to Seattle to look around, shop, have fun, etc. I was born very near Seattle, so it was like going back home (or going to the place we both visited in April.)

Well...my mom and grandma kept calling me, and told me the weather in Seattle would be awful, etc. So Jordan and I went to Olympia instead. Found a hotel across the street from a Denny's, settled in, had a breakfast-dinner, and watched a movie until we were both asleep.

The next day we headed for Portland, which was supposed to have better weather. It did. :) We then went to a neat Sushi place, and headed for home.

Now, lots of other things happened on the trip...mostly on the trip back. We went through Mount Rainier National Park/Forest. Headed to Yakima where we got completely lost. Jordan went into the gas station to ask for directions...he came out "Well, everyone there spoke Spanish except for the guy in the turban."
Me: Did you ask the guy in the turban for directions?
The guy in the turban must have been six feet tall, with a big bushy beard (white), and a Turkish moustache.

Jordan: He was a little intimidating.

So that was fun :) But seriously folks...what was the point of the trip? We missed PLU, we missed Seattle. In fact, the entire purpose was to go to Portland so we could have some sushi. Woo yeah.

So now I'm back, and am going to slowly respond to messages, and then get ready for school on the second! As much as I wish this break would continue on, I like keeping busy. I'm a little stir-crazy right now...
